About Us
Falkirk and District Association for Mental Health (FDAMH) aims to support and help to empower people experiencing or recovering from a mental health problem and also their carers.
FDAMH is a membership organisation and welcomes anyone interested in mental health issues. If you would like to become a member details of how to contact us can be found in the Contact Us pages.
FDAMH is managed by a board of directors that is elected by the membership. Board members come from all walks of life; some are professionals, some are carers, some are mental health service users. All are committed to improving the service that we offer, and to de-stigmatizing mental illness. FDAMH has paid staff working in our projects and also has a group of invaluable volunteers. To find out more about our projects go to the Services Section. If you are interested in volunteering opportunities go to the Volunteering Section.
FDAMH was established in 1981. It is a charity registered in Scotland, Charity Number SCO11889, and is a company limited by guarantee, Registered Number 151357.
