Bands, Butchers and Shops – Local support brings boost to FDAMH

We owe thanks to our local community for getting behind us to lend their support this week. Local band The Media Whores dropped by with a fabulous donation of £200 from their fundraising gig in December. Huge thanks go to Dougie Mackie, Andy Russell, Ally Gemmell and Brian Guthrie for this. Our Burns Lunch was an absolute feast, with haggis very kindly donated by Patricks of Camelon (once again) and the neeps and tatties provided by Tesco via their community champion, Elaine. And finally, long-time supporter The Gilded Cage, have sent back another donations can, benefiting FDAMH to the tune of £54.33! The support from our community is hugely appreciated, not only does it help us to do our work, but it is also raises awareness about FDAMH and mental health issues in the wider community.

If you’d like to fundraise for us or help in some other way, why not visit our Support FDAMH page – there’s loads of ideas there….or just give us a call!
