Doing the Slosh for World Mental Health Day

Dancers from all walks of life converged on the Howgate Shopping Centre on Friday 9th October to raise awareness about Mental Health! Our fabulous Flashmob was a brilliant success and we want to thank every single one of you who took part including: pupils from Braes High with their Deputy Head Kerry Drinnan; the Salvation Army; staff from the DWP; Falkirk and Larbert Fire Crews; our ever-supportive local MSP and Secretary for Justice Michael Matheson; Margaret Foy and staff from the Howgate Centre; local Police; members of Falkirk Operatic Society; Citizens Advice Bureau; Falkirk Council Housing Dept; and staff from the NHS. A fabulous bunch of dancers all (even those who said they couldn’t possibly…but did!), however more importantly you’re all brilliant ambassadors for raising the profile of mental health and breaking down barriers and stigma. Thank you – we hope you all enjoyed it, whether you were a dancer or just had great fun watching!
