1 in 4 of us will experience poor mental health at some point in our lives and if we don’t experience it ourselves, we will all have known someone who has been unwell.
An education course ‘Living with Mental Health Problems’ to help friends and family cope with what can be a confusing and stressful time, will be starting at FDAMH on Tuesday 26th March 2019 and will run on consecutive Tuesday evenings for 6 weeks (6.30-8.30pm).
The course will cover topics such as managing stress and how best to support and communicate with someone in distress.
Just some of the comments from our last course include:
“ I am more understanding and patient”
“It’s easier to talk to my relative”
“I found the programme enjoyable and useful”
