New support from see me will help improve mental health awareness

See me, Scotland’s national anti-stigma campaign, have awarded new funding to get our play ‘We are all Bobby’ back out on the road! This moving and humorous play was developed by our Arts and Media Group, and charts the journey from despair into recovery, highlighting the importance of the people around us in the bad times and good. With new funding our performers will be able to re-inhabit and develop the play, which will then be taken out and about to help train and inform people about mental health issues and the positive role we can all have with a little more understanding and acceptance. To encourage learning and discussion, ‘We are all Bobby’ will take on a slightly new format, with the performance being followed by a question and answer session, focussing on the key elements of recovery and dispelling some of the myths surrounding mental health. If you are interested in bringing the play to your organisation or group please get in touch with Julie Law at FDAMH.
