Promoting the Year of Listening with Network Rail

FDAMH will be at Falkirk Grahamston Station on Wednesday 7th September from 10am to 3pm to help promote Scotland’s ‘Year of Listening’, with staff available for anyone who wants to chat about their or someone else’s mental health or is experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Network Rail chaperones and organisations involved in supporting those with Mental ill health (like FDAMH), NHS 24, Breathing Space and Samaritans will be stationed at railway stations throughout Scotland this week. Tannoy announcements about the Year of Listening will also be broadcast all week, highlighting the presence of trained professionals in the cafes and rail stations and even on the trains. The aim is to highlight the importance of listening and help people who are facing mental health issues to find support.

We’d like to thank Network Rail for involving us in this programme of events.
