This month our Stepping On Group visited the Botanical Gardens in Glasgow. Starting off at the Kibble Palace, the group had a lovely walk, enjoying the lush greenery of the glasshouse, witnessing some very rare plants, beautiful flowers and some very large banana trees, even the infamous Venus Fly Trap. The tea room provided some well deserved soup and sandwiches, before the group set off for a stroll to explore other areas of the garden. Everyone certainly got a lot out of their day….here’s just some of the comments: “Amazing plants”, “Brilliant Day”, “Really Interesting Day”,“Liked it all”, “Really Helpful Staff”, “Would definitely do it again”
Next month sees our return to the Canal for a boat trip, run by the Seagull Trust. This will take place on Wednesday 27th May 2015 (time to be confirmed).
