FDAMH appoints Ian Dickson as CEO
Following the retirement of General Manager, Angela Price, we are delighted to announce that Ian Dickson has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.
Ian joined the team in early 2020 and played an integral part in ensuring that our services and support remained available to the community throughout the pandemic. Ian formally took on the role of Chief Executive Officer from the 1st of April 2021.

We have a brilliant new opportunity to join our team at a senior level as our Mental Health Services Delivery Manager. You should be a flexible, dynamic, self starter who enjoys a challenging role. You must have substantive previous operational and mental health experience, working at management level within health or social care and managing teams of staff. You will work closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team to ensure the continued success of FDAMH.

Find your MoJo with Fundraising!
The start to this year is maybe not as motivating as anyone would like! But there is a way to take care of yourself, find some purpose, boost your mental wellbeing and fundraise for FDAMH at the same time…join an organised challenge!
There are events out there to suit all sorts of activities and levels of fitness. Whilst many are planning ‘live’ events for later in the year, there are also lots of opportunities to join ‘virtual’ events to help you stay safe whilst still feeling part of something bigger. The packs you receive when you sign up are usually full of goodies and information to help you achieve your goals and proudly highlight your efforts however you’re taking part!
FDAMH doesn’t offer sponsored places at events, so for any events just sign up for the standard entry and set up your fundraising page for FDAMH on a site like Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving or even by using Fundraising on FDAMH’s Facebook page!
The great thing about doing it this way is that there is no fundraising target set by us, so no pressure to make sure you meet tough fundraising goals…just have fun and if you gather some donations for FDAMH along the way that would be truly wonderful! (Note that you can select FDAMH on the Kiltwalk sign up to make sure we receive the free donations top up they provide for all fundraising).
We are listing ideas for events you can join on our fundraising page. And of course, if you’d rather, you can come up with your own!

All Services at FDAMH open
We’re sending our best wishes to everyone and hope that you are coping with the continued pandemic restrictions.
In light of the most recent lockdown rules enforced on January 4th 2021, we wanted you to know that FDAMH continues to provide services as before, mostly online or by telephone. We will also continue our limited face to face service for our most vulnerable clients with no other means of support.
We’re all looking forward to continuing to contribute to supporting Mental Wellbeing within our community in the year ahead.
