Health Checks at FDAMH – Is it time you had an MOT?
Thanks to the NHS’s Keep Well Project, FDAMH has been providing free health checks for clients and volunteers on Wednesday afternoons. The health checks are entirely private and confidential and are provided by Claire, one of the project’s nurses. The check includes looking at your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, weight and life style issues. These checks are open to ANY of our service users or volunteers. Having helped to identify one participant’s dangerously high blood pressure, the benefits of the checks are clear to see! Please just speak to any member of staff if you’d like to book a slot, and remember these checks are open to ALL FDAMH’s service users and volunteers, including those of you who are not based at the Victoria Centre e.g. befrienders and befriendees.

Projects Report 2013/14 – Now Available!
Our Projects’ Report for 2013 to 2014 is now available. This provides detailed reporting on the valuable and extensive work that each of our projects has been doing in the past year. Once again there has been a large increase in demand for the services that we offer, however the report demonstrates that we have continued to innovate and develop new models of working, and indeed new projects, to help respond to the needs of people accessing our services. We would like to thank all of our supporters and particularly our volunteers, without whom the work we deliver would not be possible.
