Senior Service Manager – Adult / Core Services

  • Full Time, 35 hours/week (part time may be considered)
  • £36,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)

 

FDAMH is recruiting an experienced Senior Service Manager to provide both mental health and operational management.

The principal purpose of this post is to manage, support and co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the allocated service areas and provide line management to their direct reports.

You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team on FDAMH-wide matters, ensuring that your Mental Health experience is included in key organisation decisions.

The Senior Service Manager will be a skilled, knowledgeable and experienced individual. You must have substantive previous operational, management, mental health experience and excellent communication skills.

Able to demonstrate previous experience of managing and developing teams using innovative systems to achieve challenging goals, you should be positive, supportive, able to work in a collaborative way, and have excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

Counsellor/Therapist working with young people, aged 13+ & parent/guardians

  • Full Time, 35 hours/week 
  • £25,000 – £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • One-year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extended funding
 

We are delighted to have been awarded new funding to recruit a qualified counsellor or therapist to join our well-established Counselling Service. The successful applicant will provide counselling to young people from the ages of 13-18 and their parents/guardians/caregivers, on an individual basis.

The role is a hybrid working model, delivering face to face counselling from FDAMH’s building and remote working (Zoom) to suit the needs of individual clients as required. If you are qualified to Diploma level in a Counselling therapeutic discipline, with membership of a professional body (COSCA, BACP, BABCP etc.) and have experience of counselling people ages 13 years old and over we would love to hear from you. We will accept applications from all counselling modalities, e.g. humanistic, psychodynamic, CBT or integrative approach.
