Immediate Help Service Initial Assessment Officer

Central Falkirk
27 hours per week, circa £26,000 per annum (pro rata)
2 year fixed term

We are looking for an Immediate Help Service Initial Assessment Officer to join our successful team.

The position of Initial Assessment Officer within FDAMH is a key post. We are seeking applications from people experienced in conducting person centred, holistic mental health and wellbeing assessments.

The primary function of the Initial Assessment Officer is to meet with clients, discuss their reasons for attending and from there, to agree with the client the best course of action to meet their needs. This post requires a person with considerable experience, resilience, empathy and a clear understanding of how social, environmental and health and wellbeing factors impact on an individual’s whole life and that of their family and social contacts.
